Imagine Sunshine!
"Happiness doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look past the imperfections."
I started this blog nearly three years ago with a few main goals: to make a record of my happy moments and thoughts, to keep my family updated while away at school, and above all, to encourage others to seek for happiness in their own lives. I never imagined I'd still be writing three years later; I'm a totally different person now than I was then, but still with plenty to say. ;) Sometimes it seems unfair to me how blessed I am, how much joy I feel, so I feel deeply indebted to share that joy so others can feel it, too.
I titled my blog "Imagine Sunshine" because I truly believe that we are the determiners of our own happiness. Situations can be incredibly difficult, but how we choose to react and think will totally affect our level of personal happiness!
Happiness to me is so many things, and that's why I write this blog, to document all those things! But my main source of happiness, my never-ending source, is Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer. He is the way to true happiness, no matter how bleak life may look.
I just want, more than anything, to look back at my life on my very last day and know that I did my best, lived as full and happily as I could, and along the way, helped others to do the same. Maybe I will just have made a difference in my dog's life, who knows. But my greatest hope and joy is to bring hope and happiness to others, through the message of Jesus Christ, faith in Him, and positive thinking.
Here's to three more years. :)

And the most recent addition. . . a new BLOG! I am a firm believer in the family, and the mother's role in the home. My mother is a beautiful example of love and sacrifice for her children, and I hope to be like her. So, I started a new blog to work on that. . .so maybe it's a food blog, but whatever. It's a start! ;)
